London - 15 of the best things to do on a Friday night.
London is one of the easiest cities for anyone to find something to do any night of the week, so here is a list of 15 of the top and best things to do to narrow down your options if you find yourself there on a Friday night.
London is a world-renowned city that offers travelers a rich blend of history, culture, and entertainment. If you have never gone, it is safe to assume it's somewhere you have grown up wanting to visit! For me, as a kid, Abbey Road, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben were places I knew I wanted to visit one day and I have been lucky enough to visit London on two occasions now. Once when my sister, Sarah, was living in England studying at the University of Reading and once on the first stop on my 6-week backpacking trip around Europe! London features so many other unique and beautiful landmarks, including the Tower of London, the London Eye, and the never ending markets all over the city that I still have not visited all the ones I want to (but my favorite so far is Camden Market!) The city is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the best of British culture.
Additionally, London is also home to some of the world's most famous museums and art galleries, including the British Museum and the National Gallery, making it the perfect place for history and art enthusiasts. Truthfully, I am not really a museum person - but I have visited both and would visit again! Both museums are really beautiful buildings and the art and history inside them were able to keep me intrigued so I would highly recommend them. London is also a hub for global cuisine, with a diverse range of restaurants and food markets offering flavors from around the world. Overall, London has something to offer for everyone and is a great place to visit, no matter what day of the week it is! However, if you're in town on a Friday and looking for some fun activities to do, here are 15 of the best things to do in London:
